Mumbai Madness | A Mickey Mouse Cartoon | Disney Shorts
I am LOVING how cultural these toons can get. And I like how they don’t always use subtitles, instead relying on tone of voice and context around them so we can get the gist of the conversation. I absolutely loved this toon, from the music, to the jokes, and the rewarding ending. PLEASE watch this!
They even threw in a Bollywood gag in there! This cartoon’s a gem. :D
“Hello everyone! It’s been a while since our last update, and we would like to apologize for the lack of communications going on. It has been a really busy summer here at TRIGGER for the PR department with KILL la KILL finished. I believe we were invited to 4 events oversea! and I must note that it was a pleasure being able to meet with our fans around the world!
Now I believe everyone is eager to know what is going on with the production of LWA2! Some of our fans who followed us to our panels at various events may already know that we have tossed out several drafts of our scenario already. Talk about being picky! Today I would like to announce that after going through countless versions of our scenario, we have finally settled with a plot that we are going to work with! I have prepared several pictures from our latest meeting with our director Yoshinari and script writer Otsuka.
Lastly, I would like to also announce that Little Witch Academia 2 and TRIGGER has been picked up by Anime Matsuri! An illustration provided by Yoshinari can also be viewed on the article linked below!” - Studio Trigger
Some concepts for two characters of mine: blink and belly!!! these aren’t their final colors.
Blink has eyes but is often not aware of its own surroundings - it finds it difficult to fully pay attention to the world around it. Belly can change the position, sharpness, and number of its teeth and it clicks them together in order to echolocate. It’s able to be more attentive and aware than blink.
i wanted to show them exploring each other, since they’d never experienced something like the other before meeting. belly had never encountered eyeballs and was very interested in them when feeling blink’s face, but you can’t really touch someone’s eyeballs with your feet…. and blink was fascinated with belly’s teeth and wanted to know how they were attached. it’s no great loss to belly to lose a tooth.
